Fishermen and other stakeholders met with representatives of Vineyard Wind at the West Tisbury Library on December 3rd. The discussion was on their concerns about the wind farm, projected to be built fourteen miles south of the island. Building of the wind farm is set to begin in 2020. The general message expressed by the fishermen was that the area planned for development is an especially rich area in terms of species diversity and productivity.
